Israel has been wanting, for a while, to take Harley to the Riverview park to feed the ducks. We pass the park often on our way here and there, but we never stop. So this weekend Israel, Harley and I went together to the park to play and feed the ducks. Harley was so excited about the chance to feed the ducks. He held the bag of bread all the way there and he even passed up the playground to go feed the ducks at the pond. It was so fun watching his excitement as he got closer to the ducks, sat down and began feeding them. The ducks and pigeons at that park are used to being fed and they flock around anyone with food. Luckily we brought enough for all the birds to eat. After feeding the birds we went and played at the playground. Harley loves swings and slides. He got to go down many different slides and on the swings. We had so much fun! Harley had so much fun he was sad to leave… He was reaching and pointing at the slides. But time at the park has to come to an end when naps are needed. It’s fun to spend time with my boys!

Kayli is such a cute and very happy little girl. I love her doe eyes and big smile! She and her parents were really fun to shoot. She was so enthralled by the camera she looked and giggled from the shutter sound. She was in love with this teddy bear and wanted it in all the pictures. Dad and Mom distracted her and kept her happy and even managed to get rid of the bear for a few shots. SO CUTE! Happy Tuesday.

Mike and Kristen got married and it was awesome! After doing their engagements I was SO excited to shoot their wedding! I already knew that these two are so fun to shoot. Their wedding day came and they looked great (Even though Mike was battling some awful bug he had caught a couple days earlier). They were so happy to become husband and wife. I was happy to be a part of their day! Here are just a few pictures from their big day for all to see. Happy Tuesday!

I really love Christmas!!! There are so many awesome things about Christmas and one of them is lights! I love the lights. So every year around Christmas, Israel and I like to go see the beautiful lights at the LDS Temple. This year it was especially fun to get to take Harley. He’s at an age where he really appreciates the lights. So we went this year… It was so pretty as it always is. Harley enjoyed the lights and kept gasping and saying “WOW”. So cute… well here’s us at the Mesa Temple lights. Happy Monday!

So my mother-in-law said “I need to borrow Harley and a diaper for a minute” I thought to myself “he was changed pretty recently I think he’s ok, but I guess whatever.” a couple minutes later Harley walks into the room wearing this funny elf outfit and his hat was singing “We are Santa’s elves, filling Santa’ shelves, with a toy for each girl and each boy, Oh, we are Santa’s elves.” SO CUTE! Of course, I had to take pictures. He didn’t love wearing the hat… I had to do some quick shooting and Israel had to replace the hat a couple times. So my cute little elf is in no way impressed with my camera, like some other children are. So when I take his pictures it’s almost all I can do to get him to look once, twice if I am lucky. So in this picture with his dad you can see his “Mom, I thought we were done with the pictures!” face. Gotta love it.

So I have always loved living in Arizona. It does get hot and dry, and it’s not as green as places I have visited, but the landscapes and the skies are seldom bested. Every time I am away for long I miss the skies. Harley and I often walk outside in the evenings to stare at the beautiful sunset. Some days the skies show fiery reds, pinks and oranges. And other days they are more subtle in hue (like this photo). I love the sky here in Arizona SO much.

So, you know those times when you suddenly don’t like something you previously REALLY liked… and then you just HAVE TO change it. Well this happens often for me in various aspects of my life; haircuts and colors, furniture placement, clothing, toenail polish, etc. This time it was my blog main photo. I liked it once but as of late… can’t handle it! So I had my wonderful husband shoot a few photos of me and then use his mad coding skills to fix my blog. It is a great change because not only do I now have a photo I can handle for a while, but my husband also fixed my blog comment area… AWESOME! So my youngest brother and his wife were here visiting for Thanksgiving. It was way fun to see them and get to catch up! I also got to take pictures of their beautiful little girl Alex. Troy and Diana had such a great wedding! They did their wedding a bit different than most. They had a late morning ceremony followed by lunch. I loved that everyone got to be there and enjoy the whole event, no worrying about moving locations or dancing. It was way fun… and the food, at Maggiano’s was heavenly!
